Free Crochet Flower Pattern – Morning Glory

For this month’s free crochet flower pattern, I am sharing with you the beautiful Morning Glory flower. With her blue trumpet head, these are flowers call for your attention in the garden. They are commonly known as the flower which represent love, life and death, as every morning the flower will bloom in all her glory and die by the evening. For me, this flower is going to represent the beginning of a new time and death to the last 2 years we have all endured.

Make your own Crochet Morning Glory flower and matching leaf in any yarn of your choice with the matching size crochet hook. A beautiful quick easy pattern 3D flower pattern which will work beautifully as a brooch, hair clip or make a crown or tiara.

As a little extra gift, I have also included a free crochet leaf pattern to match with your flower. I hope you enjoy.

How to add wire

Thread the florist wire through the magic circle of the flower back, fold in half (wire length is even on both sides). Using green yarn, evenly wrap the yarn around the florist wire & place a leaf at your desired height, continuing to wrap the yarn around the stem and the crochet leaf tails to secure in the place. Continue until all your leaves are attached in your desired positions. Fasten off and secure the yarn at the bottom of the stem. Sometimes a small dab of glue will help.
