We are in the middle of summer here in Santos & Frangipani flowers are in blooms everywhere. I love these little flowers as they are perfectly fromed, come in a huge range of colour combinations frome whites to oranges and pinks. Plus they smell deivine. Most famously associated with Hawaii & commonly known as Pulmeria flower, I can guarantee once you know the crochet trick to make these flowers bloom, you will be making many many more!

Materials
- White Yarn 4 meters (any yarn of your choice)
- Yellow Yarn 6 meters (any yarn of your choice)
- Crochet hook to match your yarn
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge: N/A
Size: I have used Anne Circulo 4ply yarn (fingering weight) to create 6cm diameter flowers.
Notes: Each flower is worked in the round.
Instructions – Crochet Frangipani Flower
Row 1: (Starting with the yellow yarn) Ch3, sl st into first ch to create a small circle, ch5 (count as dc, ch 2), *(dc, ch2)* into the centre circle 4 times. Sl st into the first dc. (5dc in total).
Row 2: : PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO FOR THIS SECTION (time: 4.48s). Turn your work to the side. *(Slip st underneath the first dc post, ch 2 (3dc under the dc post, ch2, st st under the dc post), ch3, sl st under the ch 2 row 1.)* 5 times. Sl st underneath the top ch2. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Row 3: White Yarn. Turn work to the side as you will be crocheting into the petals created in row 2. Attach the yarn under a ch2 sp from row 1. *(Ch 1, sc into ch2 bar, dc increase into first dc, dc increase, dc increase, sc into ch2 bar, sl st into the foundation circle. Ch3, sl st under top ch2 bar from row.1.)* 5 times. Sl st into the first sl st. Fasten off, weave in ends.
