But as an advanced beginner, I craved more—I wanted to create stunning crochet clothing that reflected my personal style and challenged my abilities.
Over the years, I scoured the internet for intermediate crochet patterns that matched my vision. I’d stumble upon breathtaking crochet garments—think flowing bohemian crochet dresses, chic crochet bikinis, or intricate tops—and feel inspired, thinking, “This is me, I need to crochet this!” Too often, though, I faced disappointment: either the perfect crochet pattern didn’t exist, linked only to a beautiful image with no instructions, or the purchased pattern resulted in bulky, ill-fitting clothing. Frustrated but determined, I founded Moara Crochet Designs in 2017 to craft patterns for women and children that are both stylish and well-fitted.
