Make your crochet Remembrance Poppy to honour the brave who gave their lives in the war. As we move into November 2020 (a year like no other for many of us), in which we feel we are fighting an invisible war, many of us have turned back to the mentality of what I was taught in school, of life in a war. Although there is a divide in many counties right now about how we should ‘deal’ with the pandemic, if you see past this you will see a sense of togetherness and unity. From the families who are working and teaching from home, within the communities from our delivery workers to our bin men and most of all the doctors and nurses who are really on the front line.
The reason for the Remembrance Poppy is to honour and remember those who gave their lives in battle. This year lets us make our Crochet Remembrance Poppy for those who have given their lives to this invisible war to keep us safe. Make your own crochet Poppy and wear it with pride & if you can, give a donation to any charity you wish. Click below to access the full step by step pattern inlcuding Youtube video tutorial.
