Today I am sharing with you my Crochet Primrose Pattern to celebrate all of those born during February. The dainty Primrose flowers are a woodland wildflower, often found growing along banks and verges. Primroses represent, youth, renewal, beauty, optimism aswell as budding romance. These are a gorgeous cluster of flowers which come in a range of colours from pastels to bold purples.
The second birth flower for February is the Violet flower. This beautiful little dainty flower symbolizes modesty, humility, faithfulness, wisdom, loyalty, remembrance & love. If you would like to make my Violet Crochet Birth Flower click HERE.
This is easy crochet flower pattern to create which you can make with nearly any yarn you have in your stash. Make your flowers neutral like mine or with vibrant pinks. You can make your flower with any yarn and matching sized crochet hook (although you do want to keep your stitches tight, so use the smallest crochet hook you can for your sized yarn). Depending on the size of yarn you use will increase or decrease your sized flower, but I can promise they will all be beautiful. To create a little bouquet as I have you will need to make between 4-6 flowers, I have made a cluster of 5 to fill my vase which now sits in our kitchen bringing us a little Spring joy.
My free pattern includes the step by step tutorial to crochet the flower ONLY. If your would like to support me to continue creating FREE PATTERNS, you can purchase the full PDF pattern including Flower and Leaf tutorial in my Webshop or in my Etsy for only $1.99.

How to Assemble Crochet Primrose Flower
Step 1: Bend the florist wire in half, thread this through the center of the flower weaving the wire in and out of the first 3 rows to secure.
Step 2: Thread a 2 meter piece of green yarn through the base of the flower, carefully wrap the yarn around the folded wire. Next fold the tips of the wire, up against the stem, continue wrapping the yarn around all the wires (this will create a smooth tip), once you reach the end. Fasten off and weave in your ends.
