Eucalpytus Crochet Pattern - Moara Crochet

Crochet Eucalyptus | Free Crochet Pattern

Today we are going to make Crochet Eucalyptus. In a few weeks we were supposed to travel to Spain to see my sister get married but unfortunately we will not be travelling any time soon. My sister had planned her wedding in the colour tones of silver dollar eucalyptus & French lavender, so it seems appropriate to make crochet pattern inspired from her floral decor.

This is the fourteenth pattern in a series of FREE CROCHET FLOWER patterns I have & will be sharing with you as many of us stay at home through the coming days & weeks.

My free Crochet Eucalyptus pattern is written below with a simple step by step written photo tutorial or if you prefer a video tutorial, I have also made a Youtube video.

Materials

  • 20 meters of green yarn of your choice
  • Matching crochet hook to your yarn
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • 50cm florist wire

Gauge: N/A. Use the smallest crochet hook you can with your chosen yarn to create tight stitches, this will help your leaves keep their shape.

Size: Using DK weight yarn & 2.5mm crochet hook my leaves are small- 2cm, medium – 3cm, large 4cm.

Notes: Each leaf is made in the round. Pairs of leaves are joined together individually then attached to the stem.

  1. Thank you for this very nice Instructions and the pictures! I really like the results!
But I had to create two bigger sizes of leaves, because the wool i used resulted in very small leaves and i wanted a long strand, so that i can comfortably wrap it around a metal ring.

I hope its okay to send them this way, but i thought it would be a good addition.. (i’m sorry but my word table does not seem to translate well)
