Today I am sharing with your my Crochet Cotton Irish Lace Flower pattern. I have a love for Irish lace, the details and dedication to make a whole garment is amazing. Today I want to share with you a little tutorial to make a beautiful crochet flower full of 3D details, with double petals and a realistic center. Make your own crochet lace flowers and add them to hair clips or attach to some fabric to create a beautiful item that bit more special.
Make your own Crochet flower in any yarn of your choice with the matching sized crochet hook. I have decided to make mine as small as I can with a 1.25mm crochet hook and lace yarn.

Crochet Puff Button
To help demonstrate this technique I have also made a crochet video showing how to make a crochet puff button.
Row 1: Ch4, sl st into the first chain to make a foundation circle.
Place as many sc stitches you can into the centre of the circle.
Now sc over the first row a sc, pushing your stitches back behind the circle to create a doughnut shape, continue all the way around, repeating sc over this second row if needed until your crochet centre hole if no longer visible. On average this will be about 50sc stitches. Fasten off & leave a long tail.
How to Assemble Crochet Irish Flower
Attach the long tail from the puff button to a tapestry needle. Place the button into the center of the flower and sew in place. Fasten off & weave in your ends.
