As promised for the Holiday season here is my Crochet Sage Leaf Free Pattern. I first showed you this new Crochet leaf back in July. When I was working on my Christmas in July to try and be ahead of the game and ready for Christmas in time. Well, I have just about managed it. Last week I finally finished my Crochet Christmas Wreath.
This was for the first time I have made a full Crochet Wreath with wired motifs and it was worth the many hours of crochet work. To create this Free Crochet leaf pattern, I was inspired by the beautiful herbal plant, Sage. A beautiful aromatic plant which has a gorgeous fuzzy texture.
This is a quick easy crochet make which can be made with any yarn! I create a realistic replica in yarn I have used a Sage coloured cotton yarn (Circulo Amigurumi Yarn in Eucalyptus) plus the addition of a strand of cream Mohair yarn which I had in my stash. Created from 3 different sized crochet leaf motifs to look like a real stem of Sage. I will also share with you, how you can crochet over wire to create a firm, bendable crochet stem.
My free Crochet Sage Leaf pattern is written below with a simple step by step written photo tutorial or if you prefer a video tutorial, I have also made a Youtube video.
