Learn how to make the front post double crochet aka FPDC in a few simple steps. The FPDC is a variation of the double crochet stitch with a change of position where you wrap the yarn on your fabric. Once you add this crochet stitch to your skills you will be able to master the world of textured crochet fabric including 3D crochet patterns and cable crochet. How to Front Post Double Crochet
Step 1: Yarn over, insert hook from the front into the gap between the between the post stitch and the previous one (as shown below),
Step 2: push your hook in behind of the post stitch and out of the other side, pick up the yarn & pull through to the top of the stitch (3 loops on the hook),
Step 3: yarn over pull through first 2 loops, yarn over pull through second 2 loops.
